Character Development

Our School's philosophy is based on basic Biblical principles. With this, our students are expected to see life from God's point of view. Bible verses are incorporated in texts used by students. Memorization of verses, especially those from Psalms and Proverbs, are part of tasks accomplished by our learners.

Daily morning devotions, discipleship groups, and weekly Chapel Hour sessions are regularly conducted to ensure the spiritual vitality of the students.

Frequent mentoring/counseling sessions are provided through our counseling program which ensures the proper development of students as Christians.

In line with the School's goals and objectives to provide an alternative Christian way, the Purity Ball provides a venue to inspire our students to live in purity, following the precepts of integrity, virtue, and excellence in daily Christian living.

Fulfilling the Great Commission.

Youth camps and mission trips are held in areas in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces. Voluntary mission trips expose our students to the real world, giving them a chance to learn and use God-given gifts such as Gospel-sharing, acting, evangelizing, and, eventually, developing a heart for God.

All our teachers treat each student with care and respect. They also provide timely Bible-based counseling and advice. At LIGHT, we ensure that no child gets left behind.

We work hand in hand with you, as parent, to provide your child with a very fulfilling learning experience. We ensure that your child will learn lessons efficiently and effectively. We also give periodic reports to parents to monitor their children’s daily performance.

Because we maintain a small student population, students treat each other as siblings, leading to lifelong friendships.

Parents also freely approach School personnel for updates and questions as we provide a very hands-on approach to each child. We also take a proactive stance against bullying and ensure that each learner transforms to be the best version of himself for the glory of God.

Well-Rounded Development

The School believes that education should not be confined to the four corners of the classroom. The School offers classes which aims to teach students useful lessons for everyday practical life. This gives students the edge and confidence to face life’s challenges while helping them be street smart. Once a week we invite professional lecturers/practitioners to teach lessons such as CPR, cooking, entrepreneurship, practical arts, business skills, and etiquette, among others.

Students are also encouraged and given freedom to pursue extracurricular activities which will also help with their personal development.

Competitions

Our School joins various competitions in Robotics, Athletics, Arts, Music, and Platform events. By the grace of God, we have been recipients of various awards which we achieve by training our students well in their chosen events.

Boosting Camaraderie and School Spirit through Sports.
The School holds the Sportsfest every year where students compete against each other to promote teamwork, friendliness, and cooperation. Winning students are fielded into regional and national tournaments. The School also offers Ballet, Taekwondo, and Basketball, among others.

Instilling the Love of Art.

LIGHT holds competitions throughout the school year and features the best writings, literary selections, works of art, and pictures from students' submissions.
